Finally kicked the 88 to the curb after 3 years, Harvick will overthrow the 48 this year!

#24 fan here as well. And any Hendrick car. Sure would like to see #14 take the cup this year though. Kinda a Hendrick car. hehe

And by the way I like when those Toyotas crash, especially #18. hehe

FINALLY. #24 and #48 for me. I like Kasey Kane too. Maybe the new ride this season and the switch tto Hendrick in 2012 will be a jumping stone for him.

Thinking of going to the Vegas race this year. My wife mentioned it. I almost jumped out of my chair when she said it. Maybe it has something to do with the Bachelor show couple weeks ago. But I'd take it. When my boys are a bit older, we will do a family trip to DAYTONA 500
Me and the boys will go to the race and my wife can go relax on the beach.

My wife surprised me with Daytona 500 tickets in 2005 for my birthday, was before the kids were born. Took in the truck series and the Busch series as it was known at that time prior to the big race. Was one of the best times I've ever had. She gave me the gift in a card as a printed off picture of the Daytona track, I recognized it and then read the card. That put a lump in my throat that was tough to choke down, was a good day and an amazing trip. Can't wait till my little race team is old enough to make it a family trip, take in Disney and all that too.

Anyway, yes, can't wait for racing to start up, gonna be great.

My boys are #24 and #14. Just so happens they won the two races I attended in '05 too!!!

Been a #48 guy from before the first 'Chase' season. Jimmie and Chad will be the one's to beat yet again.

Gordon sent some autographed gear to my eldest for his B-day a couple years back, so he's another fav. Also, my late and favourite aunt was pals with Tony who's a fantastic guy.

Harvick, Hamlin and Shrub will always be in there, but the guys I'll be watching closely this year will be Logano (future champion) and JPM. Danica will need to drive topless to get a win.

If the tradition continues, it will be tough to beat #48 again.
Even though I am a #24 fan, #48, #5, #88 are still part of the team and I will cheer for them. Actually anyone with a Hendrick engine may get cheer from me at some point in the season.

#88 better check his damn ego and get his head in the game for a change. Without the surname he'd be looking for a ride. I absolutely hate that overrated fool.

Harvick fan here..somewhat. I was a Bowyer fan for a couple years. They could have put a teletubby in a Jack Daniels car and I would have cheered for it Hated to see JD pushed to the curb by RCR but money talks.

I have to wonder when the #48 run ends. Very good driver and one of the best crew chiefs ever but does the drive start to wane after soooo many years of flat out effort for the titles.

Agree completely on the #88. Younger days Jr. was more interested in partying with his posse and he pulled off some wins because DEI had decent chassis and exceptional HP especially on plate tracks. He went a few years there when I think he was serious but DEI equipment had not kept up with the Jones' so the results were not the same. I have to wonder in the last few years if he became so worn out from the pressure of being an Earnhardt and supposedly in top gear with Hendrick and not winning where he just mailed it in last year.

Sure wouldn't hurt my feelings if someone else piloted the #88 car.

Maybe Kasey Kahne to the #88 after this year. Think its the last year of JR's contract. But then KK is supposed to go to the #5. AH who knows.

Aww yes Nascar.... The Redneck's reason for having wheels under the house.

I could never be a NASCAR driver. I know how to turn right, and by golly I aint scared to do it!!!

I watch NASCAR twice a day in the comfort of my own bathroom. Ready, set, GO!!! Round to the left, round to the left, round to the left, round to the left. Race over.

I kid. No offense intended to anyone. Just not my cup of tea. It's my natural defense mechanism to make fun of things I don't understand. (Like wimmins)

Enjoy your season.

Get used to it!

Seriously though, Hendrix has only hired him on for the marketing value based on his last name. Where do you think he'd be right now if he was Dale Mosier? Probably selling farm equipment or something.

Yup your are 100% correct. Even with Jr's poor performance the past few years, the #88 is the top selling merchandise in all of NASCAR.

Ohhhhh thats a burn..... Actually he wouldn't even be doing that. Instead he would be on the couch with a busted leg wishing he was racing something.

actually i feel sorry the guy ..... lots of pressure to fill the old mans shoes....self doubt .....losing his dad .....step mom ....the list goes on !!! when he first started out I had the same attitude as you ...but things change.....and he is DALE EARNHARDT'S son and for that reason I will keep cheering for him out of respect for the DAD !!! and his dad was a FARMER so as long as JUNIOR sells the best and fastest equipment the INTIMIDATOR still would be proud !!!
