Question 50 Caliber
Just wondering if a 50. calber rifle (not muzzleloader) is legal in canada. I have herad many different stories as to wether they are a prohibited weapon or not. Not planning on buying one for hunting, just curious because a friend asked me and i did not know what to tell him. Can anyone one shed some light on this issue?

Never been told that I couldn't use my 50 when stopped and checked by the CO.


That is a 50-90 Sharps, Not one of them other things!!!!!!!!!

totally legal, not even restricted in most rifles

there is one on the counter at Bashaw sports...not sure what breed it is...but BIG! comes to mind

I wouldn't use anything but a 50BMG to shoot at Moose 3 miles away.
