Default 2002 Suzuki 500 quad question

My friend has to fix universal on the drive shaft and he discovered that they don’t line up is this natural? Any ideas on how to replace it?he says it’s in a very difficult spot and a clip on it that he can’t even see,thanks for any information.

Just tell your buddy to buy Nimrods quad, it’s three years newer and ready to go!

I can't help for a fix, but I find searching out youtube and some of the quad forums has been a great help. Some have tech sections and even sub forums on Honda, Yam, Suzuki etc.

There’s some very good video tutorials on replacing u-joints. It’s not hard. Just need to know what you’re doing to get the clips out and back in. YouTube is your friend on this one. Just did mine on the side by side. Easy peasy.

Don’t use a press. You’ll bend the yokes. Hammer and a solid surface like a vice or anvil.
