I don't doubt that it has something to do with her choosing to go to Davos for the WEF event. He has made it very clear that he is not a supporter of the WEF, and he doesn't want his party members associated with the WEF.

I was under the impression she di not want Pierre as leader, seems to me she backed Patrick Brown. I do think she would probably work with Pierre OK, certainly has done well with him in the past, could be other things going on that have not been aired though. Could possibly track back to the Buffalo Declaration, or some of that sort of stuff from her, I don't know.

I think there is a level of distrust for her. This article outlines some of the reasons:

Leslyn Lewis to be in Pierre Poilievre’s shadow cabinet

Pierre Poilievre has given MP and former leadership rival Leslyn Lewis a spot in his shadow cabinet, True North has learned.

Lewis, the member of parliament for the rural Ontario riding of Haldimand—Norfolk, will serve as Poilievre’s critic for infrastructure and communities, a source connected to the Conservatives confirmed.

Poilievre is set to announce his shadow cabinet Wednesday morning. Opposition critics, sometimes referred to as shadow ministers, are responsible for holding the various federal cabinet ministers to account. Lewis can be expected to square off against Liberal Infrastructure and Communities Minister Dominic LeBlanc in Question Period in her new role.

Yup, that surprised me. That was mentioned in the article I linked earlier.

Too bad, I think she/her had potential.

In addition to the WEF and woke twitter nonsense, she also quit Browns campaign to look at running provincially here…and in less than 3 days decided not to.

Not a good look, running around trying to weasel in anywhere. Wasted potential for sure.

Im glad Dane Lloyd got a spot, should have been higher profile though.

Lewis is a bozo time bomb. If Pierre cant see this coming, we need to have his ears and glasses checked for liberal interference.

Lewis could do very well in that role... We may actually see some positive movement in that portfolio if the Conservatives get a chance to run things.

I think she needs a little while longer for people to forget when she went left and apologized to the leftist commies for being a 'cis white female'. That definitely hurt her image to her base.

That was the start of her downfall. I liked her and thought she had balls. She did a 180 IMO. Wrote her off after she was supporting Patrick Brown. That’s one skidmark she won’t get rid of on top of the WEF crap. Isn’t she living with her husband in the USA more than she is Canada these days? Oh well.. On top of all of that I don’t think she can speak French or very well. Can only go so far in Canadian politics if you can’t speak French.

Pierre Poilievre is the great uniter in Canadian politics

Poilievre bridges almost all the chronic divisions in Canadian federal elections

As soon as Pierre Poilievre won the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada, the usual pundits began rattling off the reasons why he cannot beat Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the next federal election. They are wrong. As last week’s Nanos poll revealed, Poilievre has already pulled ahead of Trudeau — and his support is just going to keep growing.
