I noticed that the Apple app fails to show the Flow chart numbers (M3/s). Android no problem. Still a great and useful app.

Default Ghost

Ghost River is high and very dirty. I suspect all the tributaries are the same. With all the clear cut logging going on, silting is extreme and the fish will suffer.

I'll see the Bow when I walk over it today. The bigger rivers are likely okay.
Drove over the Upper Red Deer and Little Red last night. Very high and chocolate milk for both.

I guess it hasn't got here yet. It was just slightly milky when I walked over this morning. I have to walk back this afternoon so we'll see if it has changed. The water did look to be about 1.5 feet higher but still very fishable.

Elbow at the entrance at the Bow was in similar condition...high but fishable.

I hope the mountain streams clear up in a week.

I'm fishing the Ram this coming weekend.

Provided it doesn't rain much it should.

Uh...your idea of chocolate milk is not mine.

Looks like time for some exceptional streamer fishing to me.

It must be working well
Just letting members know here what it actually looks like.

I'll be trying my luck out there in some of the great weather coming up this week. I think I'll focus on streamer fishing while the water is higher.

Looks like the flow rates are coming down.

Any recent reports from out west?

Took them Sunday from along the FTR. The Clearwater was from the Cut Off creek road.

Went over the Red Deer, James, and Bearberry out by Sundre on Saturday and they looked a lot like Boomer's pics of Ram. Fished the James the week before and it was low and slow.

Anyone been out on the Bow yesterday or even this morning? Seems like it's getting a bit better.

I'm heading to South Bow tonight. Looked even better this morning when I walked over it. 3-4 feet of vis but still nice and high for streamer fishing....aw yeah!

The west slope river levels are dropping quickly.
Hopefully they'll be good for the weekend.
