Its considered politically incorrect to refer to Inuit as "Eskimos", nowadays...
Cool vid, they clearly tried to deter the bear before the kill shot.

Its probably politically incorrect to show a video of a polar bear being brained but that seems to not bother you. Or me.

I would think with kids around this bear presented an immanent threat and was dispatched ethically after attempts were made to deter him. Eat or be eaten in this case. Cool Vid.

Ya know they could have just thrown the bear some meat and let him go on his way, he didn't have to die, they are starving in the North don't ya know 
Cool video, wait till he is close, one to the brain. Over and out. Bear had enough chances to detour with the bullets flying in the water. That's a big Whale, i wonder how many men it took to get it up on the ice flow?

Great video and very apparent that they tried to scare it off before killing it...woulda been an intense couple minutes for those guys i'd imagine.

Was that polar bear just shot with a .223? Can't be, everyone knows there is no more ice, Polar bears have gone extinct and one needs at least .416 for Polar bears.

They could have sat there 5 feet from that bear and been fine most likely. That bear was not going to be an issue. He had enough food there to keep him occupied.
