Default THrive nutrition supplements? pro cons

Trying out this thrive stuff to see what all the hype is. Anybody else doing it and what do you think of it? Most things you see on it are actually people pushing the stuff it like a pyramid scheme.

If you must, take a vitamin. Or eat healthy and save your money.

I know a woman who is head of an area or some such. It is believed by her doctor and specialists that using this for a long time "burned out" her pancreas and she was in the ICU for a very long time. She was a very healthy person before. I don't fully understand it but they are much smarter than I.

My rule of thumb is to avoid pretty much any food product marketed as though its the second coming of Christ. If the word 'superfood' is used just once then its basically off the list. The main motivator for the manufacturer is to separate you from your money, period. Eat a variety of healthy foods with a good balance of the food groups and you'll be better off. Multi-level marketed food products might as well call themselves Soylent Green.

Don't eat a lot of processed foods and eat the proper amounts of all food groups.

Pure garbage. Processed, multilevel-marketing, pyramid scheme style garbage. Wouldn't feed to a dog.

Learn to cook and eat real foods not stuff from a box, focus on lean cuts, fish, etc for protein (watch the red meat intake), and make sure half your plate is green/veggies as often as possible.

The only vitamin that is probably necessary is some vitamin "D" in the winter
because of the lack of exposure of our skin to the sun. Our body can't make any in the winter (or very little).
The rest can be gained from healthy eating habits.

Shame that whilst "reefer madness" Rona was wasting $7millon of health Canada's funding whilst she was minister to push the conservative anti-pot agenda with our money, HC was doing absolutely nothing whatsoever to regulate this 2$billion dollar industry of slick marketing and snake oils.
Watch the marketplace episode.

For weight loss you are further ahead to buy a Zumba DVD set.
