Default Kananaskis area ice

Today I drove out to Grotto mountain pond and swing by Sibbald meadows pond.

Sibbald is still 100% iced.

Fished grotto for an hour in the snow, 12 feet under an indicator. zero action.

Thanks for the report, i was wondering how that area was. Looks like it's not gonna be a spot for the week end.

I didn't really expect to catch much... I just needed to get some fur & feathers wet somewhere that wasn't the bow

Thanks for update and good to know that Grotto is open! Plan to head out to Barrier lake tommorow as long as the weather ain't too ridiculous. Might try fishing the kananaskis river. I know kind of a waste of time but tired of the bow. Can report back.
