I think that if we stick with things that science has proven to be detrimental in a big way we can avoid politicizing smaller issues.

cigarettes and booze are already highly taxed,last I heard they are taxed too much and there is a surplus on revenues from them.

With the government there is never a surplus of revenue, just unused revenue. LOL

x3 Russians stood in line for their government delivered services including food. They found out that socialism did not work. Some Canadians have not learned that yet. Russia exports grain now, we used to sell them a lot of grain when the communists were trying to run the farms. The same principle applies to health care. Private enterprise is messy but it gets the job done for most everything else we buy.Someone is always comming up with a better cheaper way to do things. Private for profit are not dirty words.
