Default Crown Land

Can anyone give a little advice on where i can find out and see where crown land is in the area within 1.5hr of Edm.
I was just looking at the regs. and saw a few area's within a short drive of Edm. but i woul dneed to hunt crown land.
So if anyone can hep me out on where to even start i'd really appreciate it.Thanks

West on Yellowhead to WMU 338 starting at Cynthia and further West to Carrot Creek..............lots of crown. Moose, Elk, Whitetail and Muleys.......lots of chickens too.

339 around lodgepole was out on the weekend saw aound 20 whitetails all does no mules got a full limit of ruffies so it wasn't a complete loss one very sick moose just covered in ticks felt sorry for the poor thing

are the roads up in 338 oil lease,and if i do go there now am i able to tell if there crown not private.

Mostly oil lease. If it's not fenced and their are no dwellings around (which there won't be) it's going to be crown. There aer a couple/few grazing leases.........you'll know these 'cause they are fenced.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but is there much crown land near Calgary? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There's lots to the west in the foothills and mountains.
