Default RMH Wolves

So I was in WMU 330 today north of crimson lake. I came across one pack of wolf tracks and it got me thinking that I might go back one weekend and try some wolf hunting. I was just wondering if this is a good area or if I would be wasting my time up there?

My cousin and I ran into 5 sets of tracks in 324 on the last day of the season as well, looks like they thought there'd be a moose up on the old beaver dams same as I did. Going back next week after em, it's the third run in with super fresh sign or hearing em howl up there this season.

The Rocky Mtn. Hse. branch of the A. Trappers A. and the Rocky Fish & Game Association has pooled some money and will pay a "tanning fee" to anyone who shoots and registers a wolf in the area.

If you are a member in good standing of either club you get a little more $ but anyone else can collect some money.

Gotta love these politically correct euphemisms. The Sundre one is "wildlife enhancement bonus". I just call it a bounty.
