Default Industrial Strength Cleaners

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice on a good industrial strength cleaner. I need to scrub down the roof of my camper, the build up of bugs and road grime and crap from the trees in my backyard has gotten pretty bad. Any thoughts are much appreciated, thanks.

Pink pressure washer degreaser from Princess Auto, and some dish detergent. I usually buy Sunlight, but I think they are all pretty comparable. Horse hair rig brush, or a nice, soft nylon car wash brush.

Tobin, a fellow member here told me about Citrol and it has worked really well for me. I've used it on heavily greased up appliances and mineralized deposits, both with great success. From what you are describing, I'd say it's worth a try - and it's not nearly as noxious as some of the other stuff out there (you should still wear gloves though!)

You can get it a Blackfoot Industrial Supply in Calgary

Cool, thanks everyone. They all sound like good ideas. Time for some quick research.

On a somewhat tangential note, anyone have a recommendation for something to get oil out of concrete/asphalt?

Spray Nine will melt off dried bugs and grime. Just don't apply to plexiglass or lexan, it will cloud it. Only try to use it on painted, chrome, rubber surfaces.

I used a product called s55. I forget who makes it but was great. The other product was Daki. Wet it before and scrub it.

Engine degreaser for roof. Scrub. Rinse off.

Can be done in 15 mins or less.

You could scrub for days with some other products mentioned...

Also works great for those black streaks.

Good luck

So I went with the Castrol Super Clean. That is amazing stuff, Sprayed everything down let it soak for a few then hosed it off, didn't realize how white my camper was under all that crap.

Sprinkle baking soda on top then spray it with some white vinegar.
Will not harm fiberglass.
Best is to 2sq ft at a time . Where rubber gloves as you will not have any finger prints at the end of the day.

505 degreaser. Zep product. Works too good. Took the numbering and high low lettering right off the bbq.
