Default Arrow Numbering Decals

Anyone make their own or know of someone that makes them, or where a person could even buy them in canada?

Maybe check with Streaks arrow wraps they are out of Calgary and are sold out of both Edmonton and Calgary JimBows.

I have always just used a fine point sharpie on a vane

Use a silver or gold sharpie.

Sounds too simple. Will the ink from the sharpie throw off my flight characteristics?

I number my shafts because if my fletch comes off or I re-fletch there is a chance the shaft could be re-numbered something else.

I like to number mine. Out of a dozen arrows not all of them fly the same.
#1 arrow is the arrow that has perfect flight. Groups exactly the same with broadheads and field points and this is the arrow i plan on using to put through an animal. Some guys number them according to age of the shaft. Some guys put a finishing shot arrow in their quiver if they ever have to put another shot into a wounded animal.

If you shoot competition you sometimes get an arrow that takes a smack....it may or may not fly true afterwards, by numbering you can keep track of specific arrows.

This is actually good advice for those starting out. I think arrows are pretty consistent nowadays, I've had exactly one arrow go wonky and corkscrew. That one ended up being a chicken arrow.

I don't number my arrows, but I do mark any that take a hit and I don't use those on an animal. Wouldn't remember what number, but if I pick up an arrow with a mark I know what it means.
