Default Bon Scott AC/DC

It's been about 20yrs or so since I was in my "coming of age" days. 1986 backwoods bush parties, stack of pallets lit on fire, bootlegged case of Labatts Blue, everyone you knew from 3 different high schools, and the guy with a 1976 Chevy Nova that had an alpine stereo and sub woofer.

It was a grand gathering of all the locals, jocks, rockers, and the up and coming pop era crowd.

Although it wasn't my first exposure to AC/DC, it was to be the most prolific. My oldest sister was 21 when Bon Scott died, bought me a T-Shirt, blue with a red AC/DC logo across the front. It wasn't until almost 10 yrs later I figured out the significance of what she had bought me.

With the days of bush parties and bonfires behind me, I lost touch with my roots so to speak, for a few years at least.

Tonight I had a friend stop by and started playing with my computer while I was reloading some bullets. He's a head banger from way back and started playing old AC/DC.

So this is just a shout out to Bon Scott and all the up and coming musicians.

AC/DC - Touch Too Much (Youtube) Imagine a world where Bon Scott lived to play in Edmonton last September. It almost brings a tear to my eye.

Saw them in Wpg when they were backup for Aerosmith, didn't think the arena was gonna make it through the set. Aerosmith did not measure up. The wife and kids were in Edmonton in sept, still awesome.😃😃

No offence intended to Brian Johnson, but I always liked AC/DC better with Bon Scott as their singer. They were the soundtrack to my often misspent youth.

Back in the 80's I'm having beers at a famous downtown Vancouver strip club. The place is packed to the rafters, because a very famous Porn Star was performing. It was hard to even find standing room. I'm sitting at a table with a bouncer, and some guy comes up and I heard him say "I'm wondering if we can get a table for 6"
"HAH! Not a chance!! Do you see this place?!!!" The bouncer replied back.
Quietly the man says "Umm...I have AC/DC waiting outside".
"ALL RIGHT YOU GUYS...HIT THE ROAD, THIS TABLE IS RESERVED"
I had to get up and just stand beside the table as I watched the entire AC/DC band sit beside me. Very cool.
