Wild Pigs!!
The other day I was sitting in the cabin and looked out to see a Sow and Three Piglets running through the yard. She looked to be pushing the 100lb mark. Shortly there after came several concerned campers came to the cabin with stories of the Sow chasing her kids. I'm assuming the sow charged to defend her little ones. I managed to snap some pics just before they left for the bush.

Hey that's awesome, nice to see pics of these elusive creatures. I've only ever see one, and that was while driving. Hopefully someday get a shot at one.

Looks like a pot belly pig, that someone has turned loose.

I can guarantee that its quite a bit bigger than a small dog. Same height as my Norwegian Elkhound with a longer body and twice the girth.

Beat me to it. Hard to say for sure from the pics, but that's my guess. Maybe just trying to be friendly with the kids.

Id say its slightly too tall, too long, not round and fat enough to be a potbelly and that streek of back hair along the back is too long and defined. My guess wild beacon.

More like a warthog... Look at the ridge of long-hair along the spine.

See them inside the fence where the buffalo are in Stony Plain, across from county office. $50 bounty on them too.

HA HA HA Hope your PM box is empty.
To OP. I thought for sure this would be another thread asking where you might find wild pigs. Good luck on the hunt. Keep us updated.
