Default Ackley improved

Looking for a reliable gunsmith to make my .243 thompson center into an Ackley improved? Any suggestions?

Custom gunwork out of leslieville chambered my 338 edge imp. And it shoots great. Really the only place I know. Or Bashaw sports. Wherever you decide to take it get in quick. Usually smiths are backed up in work. So hopefully it's getting worked on in the next 3 months of crappy melty and windy weather

Is this a TC bolt action? Or a break action?

I don't think you could AI a break action as you would need to re-face the barrel and set it back to get the correct head space. Anything is possible,but not practical.

Dave Henry at Bentley made a .243 Win into a .243 Ackley for me.
Tack driver.
He does excellent work.

I have parker hales in .308 and 30-06. What wildcat options do I have for these?

All kinds if you don't mind buy new barrels and not many if you want use the same barrel. FS

338-06 would be a consideration.

There right I phone Corlane to do my 280 rem to a ai and they said it cant be done on a brake action!

How much does it cost to rebarrel is it cheaper to but a new gun and keep the old one?

Thirty Gibbs is a big improvement over 30-06
