These are not Mitutoyo quality but we have had examples of both brands in the shop for years and they are very good. They quite often have a sales flyer and the prices are good. Another decent brand that won't break the bank is Fowler.
These are WAAAAAY better quality than the stuff from Princess Auto, Cdn Tire, Busy Bee etc.
X2

I know of shops that use Insize and Asimeto.
Hell, Mitutoyo are over-rated. Two out of three my shop bought this year had burs on the internal jaws. Quality had been consistently going down since they started manufacturing in Mexico/Brazil.

The crappytire one's go on sale for $15 or so, looks like its accurate enough for general reloading purposes. I was having trouble with batteries I plucked out some foam as someone suggested out of the case over the switch seems to be fixed.

Their waterproof ones are really good. Still made in Japan.

I have two of the Princess Auto digitals, (one 6" capacity and one 8" capacity) plus a dial Mitutoyo and a vernier Mitutoyo. The Mit's are 25 years old and 35 years old respectively.

The Princess units will both repeat the same measures as the Mitutoyo dial consistently, I have good confidence in them, and at $30 and $40 on sale at PA were a darn good deal. They go on sale quite often.

And, yup, locating the foam in the case over top of the on/off button then ripping it out allows for pretty long battery life.
