Keep Jones and sign Bear 🐻 to the maximum length contract NOW. He’s got so much more poise with the puck and only getting better. Nurse will probably never be a top paring Dman definitely not on the offensive side of it the puck has been a grenade for him this year. Trade Darnell or Matt and Russell.

Not yet he isn't better than Nurse but maybe one day. I'd think Benning, Larsson, and def Russel are on the block after the seasons done. Jones will be a regular, Bouchard is real close, and Broberg could be ready after next year.

Nice spot to be in for the Oilers. What was once a glaring weakness could become a strength.

Athanasiou is a nice pick up for this season.
RFA at the end of the season. It'll be interesting to follow the negotiations for his next contract.

I was worried about that the way he went hard into the boards right at the end of last game and didn't come back onto the bench.

Tyler Ennis might be a good temporary fit on the Draisaitl line

I'll take the kid at under 2.75 goals, a .935 save %, and 3 bags of M&M's consumed during live play.

Default Take a peek at the newest Oiler!

Been watching some of Athanasiou's highlights. After watching them, I am reluctant to say the the only guy I know of with lightning fast, explosive speed like the newest Oiler is #97 himself.

Fingers crossed that they can find chemistry together.

This guy is a dragster...

Watching the trade deadline show yesterday they were saying in a straight line race he would probably beat 97. He skates tjat fast straight ahead.

Oilers will need to regroup here, or something. Down 2 to Ducks early is nonsense. Somebody light a fire under them....

I probably switch up Ennis and Archibald for the 2nd. And then maybe someone can start skating and make a pass.... that would be good.

Oilers have the best, and maybe the second best players in THE WORLD....And satisfied with a tie...until ducks take lead again. Damn, the bar is low in Pacific.

Whelp....that didn't end well. Losing to Ducks is the worst. Like, really bad. I hate Ducks. Nice effort from the new guys.

Would you consider Dan Marino one of the best Quarterbacks ever, even tho he never won a Championship?

Probably. Just like I think Iginla and Kiprusoff were great. You know I'm a Flames fan, right?

Yes. I just feel like to be considered in “the best” category, you have to win a Championship. And whereas they are great Hockey players, if they never reach that pinnacle milestone, I don’t think “best” would be a suitable title.

Side note on this subject, ole Jumbo Joe was none to happy he didn't get traded to a contender.
New guys did their part tonight for you guys. Have to be happy with that.

So Crosby entered the League in 2005 and won his first cup in 2009. in the 2006/07 season he had 120 points. So who was the best player in the league in 2007?
