Default Brown Trout

As a matter of information for fly fisherman planning a trip to nfld, the avalon has some of the best brown trout fishing in the world.
The rivers and lakes in St Johns are full of trout, the waterford river, is said to have the most trout per kil in the world.
Quidi Vidi lake, I have released 15-20 large trout in an evening.
The fishing guide to brown trout, will give you the location, of the many tidal ponds were to fish----15---20 pounders not uncommon.
All within, a short driveing distance from the city.
The brown trout not a push over like the brookie, you need fine tackle, and good fishing skills to hook this very wary trout.
