Cool

I had my letter deleted by one of the recipients who felt that my description of their survey as being "half-assed", for which I later apologized, was disrepectful.
Seems to me some of these folks are getting a little "squirmy pants" over the reaction they're getting on this and other forums.
Be careful how you word your responses folks. Some of these liberals are very easily offended. And keep them letters comin'.

The Native Trout plan hopefully will realize real changes in how Alberta deals with the land abuse.

I see that Angler's revolt as a line in the sand. They have had enough of paying for others activities.

Looks like you were successful after all, Don, unless someone added the words on pages 31, 43 and 44 in since you looked last.

At any rate, words needs to become actions. Lots of words written and spoken over the past decades. Virtually unchecked development and bios monitoring the decline with nothing of substance done. We need to keep the focus on action, now that the issues have profile.

Yupe - not a lot done over the past 50 years.
To be fair, both logging & oil/gas companies have came a long way in the past 20 years. They at least have riles to control their conduct and fines if that dpesn't work.
This is unlike all other users.

All,

As part of my commitment to being more involved and informed, I have joined the Edmonton Trout club, BHA, and Trout Unlimited.

I received approval to post a letter submitted by TU. I for one and happy to see this issue is growing to include other responsible parties (potentially anyways).

In case that picture isn't clear enough to read, here's the link to the forum.

I believe that Trout Unlimited and many of the other groups are in agreement with 90% of the issues.

We all want the same thing - better management and accountability over our watersheds.

Don't forget about the Alberta Fish and Game Association. They have done a lot over the years and are continuing on with some really great land acquisitions over this past year. Make sure to watch the whole video... great stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DPh...ature=youtu.be
