Best place to sell guns?
I have a Russian SKS and rifle case I wish to sell. It appears Kijiji wont allow firearms on their site.
Any suggestions?

Either way, Russian 1954 SKS, some cleaning oil/patches and black rectangular gun case. Had exactly 240 rounds through it and cleaned of all cosmoline ect. Very sad to see it go.

They buy and sell forum. Not here. http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/forumdisplay.php?f=87
Arguably the best site to sell a firearm is: https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/forum.php

I wouldn't be sad to get $300 for a SKS, good luck with your sale.

I guess that asking price might verify that you don't check out firearm classifieds either here or on CGN, it's helpful to check what the market prices are in order to price accordingly. The first retail store I cross checked has Russian SKS's for 249.99.

There is not too many options to sell the guns right now and very slim options to sell overpriced guns

People probably shouldn't comment on what others are asking for their wares. Other than that, there's nothing wrong with this site for buying and selling.

I have had good luck buying and selling stuff both here and on CGN. Because I'm slightly sharper than the dullest knife in the shed. I only deal with people that have stellar ratings. I also check their PAL registration with the RCMP in NB. The slightest flags comes up, and I'm outta here.

I worry about selling a gun as I have no idea if the PAL is legit.

I've had great results selling guns right here in AO Classifieds......price them fair and sold within hours.
Gunnutz reaches a national market with same results.
First question you need to ask yourself when pricing a gun for sale is "would I pay this?" for this gun??
If you would feel good good about paying X dollars for that gun and think you got a decent deal, then no shame in asking X dollars.
Next Q is "what's my bottom line?"
Answer-asking price is bottom line,it's already priced fair
How desperately do I need the money?
--already priced fair and a good deal for somebody that likes it,I ain't given it away....unless I need to come up with $10K for a lawyer or an organ by noon tomorrow,I'm not that desperate to sell.
That's all I got...

canadafirearms.ca, usedfirearms.ca, townpost.ca, this site right here.
Deal with people who have some reputation on these sites, by simply checking what others are writing about them.
Good luck on your sale!
