Congrats. That is a beauty of a fish. It begs for a full story.

Thumbs up Great fish

Great catch must be a blast on a fly rod... just wondering is it necessary to keep the fish to qualify or is there a category for catch and release also?

Yes there is a catch and release category at the NFWFHF its in inches
http://www.freshwater-fishing.org/wo...rd-application

IGFA has 127 fish that can be recorded as of 2011 but just all tackle
