I know I wasn't expecting that.
I would give up handloading if I had to use a LEE scale.

I began with the Lee Kit because that was what I could afford at the time with two little kids. All of it ended up going down the line when I realized what junk it was.

Of all the things I hated, the scale was what I hated the most.

I'd buy factory in a heartbeat before I would load with that POS scale again.

The Chargemaster can sometimes over throw by 0.2 (2 tenths) of a grain. Of course those of us familiar with the Chargemaster know of the McDonald's straw trick. I only cut 2 triangular slits in my straw. I cut them long and narrow and let it protrude about 3/8". This greatly reduces and darn near eliminates overthrows.

Answering the OP

I would stick to balance beam scale for verifying powder charges because its the best. For weight sorting bullets and other accuracy driven endeavours an electronic scale is superior. Calibrate the electronic regularly and verify with balance beam to keep it honest.
