I was 45 years old when I harvested my first deer. It was a 6 pt. buck. On the stand only 5 minutes and it walked out. When I was dating my 2nd husband (still my husband) I met him in March and the next deer season I would go with him hunting and told him one day that I could do this and the rest is history!

14, 5x5 whitetail 152 gross typical. 15, 6x6 whitetail 187 gross typical. Haven't sot anything that big since and that was 40 years ago. I guess I used up all my luck early.

Hey guys, I shot my first grouse when I was 14. My dad was standing next to me and I'll never forget the slap on the back he gave me, just about knocked me over! After that lots of rabbits etc.
Shot my first moose at 16 at 30 yards with my dad's 30-30. I just accidently walked up to him along a cutine. First buck at 19.

Started bowhunting at 28 years old, got lucky on a moose (he stuck around after the "warning shot") and a doe. Pretty much the best fun you can have with your clothes on!

Fourteen when I bagged my first Whitetail. Shot a little spiker second day out. It's funny how I can remember every deer and the location that I took them but have a hard time remembering my wedding anniversary.
