Headed out early and grabbed the smallest brisket on the shelf- a cute little 15lb-er. The larger ones were fat bombs.

10 lbs trimmed for the Smoker.
5 lbs now swimming in a Horseradish Brine for Corned Beef

I went to the west side Sobeys Lloyd yesterday and got the pork steaks but no brisket. They said it wouldn't be in until Sunday.

Go back and get a rain check for a couple hundred pounds.

I think pork blade steak is also known as pork shoulder steak. It's one of the best cuts on the pig in my opinion. I like it better than bacon.

No Frills has pork side ribs for $2/lb. until the 25th. I found nice racks for $6 each.

Default Scored!

Picked up 2 shoulders at the first Safeway I went to.
I looked at 6 Safeway’s for brisket in the last 3 days. Found some at the one in Marlbourogh this morning. Next weekend brisket on the smoker, can’t wait!!
