Default To the landowners in 212

Straight to the point, I'm looking for a couple landowners in 212 who maybe have some nuisance deer they're looking to get rid of before the end of November 2019.

I bought my first bow back in 1984 with my earnings from my first job delivering newspapers for the Edmonton Journal, but I've never taken a deer by bow before.

And being more of a rifle guy, I've already filled my general whitey and muley draw in the first week of November this year with the landowners that I keep in touch with in 210 and 214, so I'm not in need of meat or anything like that; really, I'm just looking to strike something off my bucket list with my last tag.

If the sound of an archer who's starting to get up there, flinging an arrow or two, sounds like something you might be willing to entertain on your land in 212, shoot me a private message, let's talk. Otherwise I'll sit on the couch for the rest of the season and drive my wife nuts.

There's so much season left, just don't know anyone in 212...

Thanks in advance - cheers.

I’d love to know as well, keep hearing about these nuisance deer but have never seen one myself

That nuisance deer tag is a hard one to get.
Good luck with your mysterious hunt!

Like I said, this is more of a bucket list item...I was diagnosed with a severe case of cervical spinal stenosis in my early 40’s, something that usually affects people in their mid-70’s. I’d like to knock this off my list before I’m unable to draw a bow anymore - nothing more than that really.

Antlerless deer tags in 212 are separate, you get 2 tags for the season for either species antlerless deer

Me too. i’d like permission. I’m respectable, responsible, carefull, bla, bla, bla. I’ve never taken a nuisance deer before. How do they taste.
Well, this is wayyyyy easier than knocking on doors.
Let the pm’s begin.
Thanks

Lol, I was being cheeky. Really, I try and get permission early in the season so you’re not bothering land owners in the heat of battle. Generally, this is a great place for information. I think sometimes the lack of effort later in the season is irritating to the guys that put in hard efforts before the season. That’s all. Still, good luck to you.

Huh? i wonder where these landowners are that you're referring to? I've been searching all around my area and most of the landowners are VERY tight with permission.

What quadrant of 212 are you referring to Joe? NE? NW? SW? SE? Central?

PM me if you don't want to publish the quadrant...

J.
