Default Odd Calling Scenario

What would you do?

I'm on the Hay River, been in a spot a while. A while ago a small plane flew by, then started circling the bank directly across the river. Very soon after motor boat came up river, guys hopped out and headed for the spot the the plane was. They called 3 times in half an hour, 7 times each. Now as I type this 3 guys walked out of the bush and are now walking around looking for that moose.

Morons.

Question. I am a patient caller and a bull is here. Do I have a hoe or have these guys f Ed it up??

And they area gone. A second Zodiac showed up, they had lunch and left. I haven't called since they showed up and I plan to stay here till nightfall.

So these guys landed their Zodiac a good km downriver and then bushwackwd through some heavy bush to set up and start calling directly across from us. When they started calling I answered with a grunt hoping they would stop calling and wait out the bull they thought was coming. Instead they just called more and then decided to walk to the bull through the bush and came out just across from us.

Is my hunt screwed?? Probably. But I thinking the plane spotted a bull that was coming in to me and they made a mad dash for uthe bull. They left maybe half an hour ago. I will start calling again soon. Hopefully I still have a chance with him.

Default Moose

Well we all look for an opportunity but it shold be earned by good old scouting and being in the field. Keep a watch for that plane might come back. If it does I hope he gets a good visual of you standing over a huge bull.
Really hope your bull comes in for ya

Went through this..F&W want a videotaped confession....forget them.

Your best bet is to go after their pilots license.

Still a bit of a PITA but... the MOT will investigate if for instance a pilot is flying too low...stunting etc.

You need to do some research though.
