Default Chip lake

Hey guys...can you run chip lake with a regular prop outboard?

I'm not positive but I think it's only about 4' deep. I know it's full of o whole bunch of really small jackfish.

Great little lake to take the kids ice fishing. The biggest I caught was a 6 lb jack. I know of 2 around the 17 lb mark. But yes mostly little guys. A few nice size ling this year also.

As for a boat, I would be hesitant with how shallow.

You can if your careful. I have a 12' zodiac with a 25hp prop on the back. Was all over that lake last year. Getting out from the boat launch I had to lift the leg a few times to clear the weeds but once i was out and up on plane i didn't have an issue. Only problem was when we overloaded the boat once and i couldn't get on plane I hit bottom a few times. Never found anything hard though.
