Default My First Goose Hunt!!

Was invited out for a shoot by Cupped N Committed. We got an early start leaving home at 4am and getting our set up before day light. We had the company of member Reidboys as well. We had great conversation and the birds while not in huge numbers did show enough to keep us interested. We ended up getting 13 birds and could have easily limited out if we all could have shot better but non the less was an awesome hunt and taking my first bird has me hooked. Cant wait till my next time out!! Thanks a million Cupped!!!

Here is a clip from one floc that came in...

Just to be fair we shot quite well. Those were simply warning shots to let those birds have a fair chance to escape! Lol it was a pile of fun can't wait to do it again!

Ya I think he's officially got the bird bug!! Lol
I only took him out once. We only harvested a half limit. But being in that blind with him shakin like a leaf when they were comin from everywhere but not wanting to play our game was worth every bird that didn't land. Had a blast. Wish we could go again this season but work won't allow it. He also realized it was almost harder on your body and lungs to chase down a crippled bird than climbing after a ram. Lol

I'm super happy he enjoyed himself. Made it worth everything. I do apologize to his better half for creating this new addiction/pastime/mistress!

I've been quizzed up a few times too. How does he get anything done at work?

.……… he knows........ To be more careful with them next time. They were on sale. What can I say? You should see the poor man spread I started with. Almost enough to make u wonder how they could possibly bring in birds!
