I am a young guy, and I want to build a cabin in this beautiful province for my family to grow up in (and me to grow old in). My problem is that I am both very fussy, and have limited $....
I need help in determining where the best location is for me to get the kind of land that I want. Any ideas from the group would be greatly appreciated.
Here is my 'vision' of the perfect location.
Within 3 hours drive of Edmonton
No less than 15 acres
Bordering (or very close) to lots of crown land (for hunting)
Good mixture of trees
Has a stream running through it
Close proximity (< 20 Km) to some lake fishing
I know that I am not asking for much
Where should I be looking?
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Also if you have some land like this that you are willing to discuss leasing / selling I would love to hear from you.
