Default 2016 Euro Mount

I just wanted to share the progress on my first whitetail. I've been working on a euro mount.Im pretty pumped about how it looks so far. I am letting it dry now before I whiten it. I am thinking of using some reclaimed wood for the backdrop.

Good looking Euro. Glad that the nose section stayed pretty intact. That can be tricky.
I have quite a few that I should be working on but it's been a roller coaster year, mostly going down.
I do have one for a fellow member that has been waiting very patiently for his almost done.

Looks sharp, did one last year that I mounted on two pieces of drift wood so it could be displayed on a table or floor standing up.
Sometimes that little bit more to be creative gives it that special touch and that being your first whitetail why not!

That looks great man, a real beauty. I think the reclaimed wood is a good idea too. Here's one I just did on some reclaimed wood.

Cheers
