Default 7.62 x 43 vs 7.62x39?

Just bought some ammo from WWS and the crate is labelled 7.62 x 43 whereas the ammo is actually 7.62 x 39.

Does anyone know what that difference is?

Is 7.62x 39. M43 is the Soviet designation, for the cartridge.

Like our esteemed colleagues have mentioned, M43 is a type of ammo.
Namely 7.62x39 with steel core bullet.
Examples: M118 is a 7.62x51 (308) with a 173gr bullet, ball, BT.
M118LR is the same but with 175 gr bullet, HPBT.
7N1 is sniper ammo in 7.62x54R, and so on...
