Default Spotting Scope for Sheds?

Hey Guys, I know its not the most ideal time of the year for shed hunting as most browns are now chalky but I was wondering if anyone uses or has used a spotting scope for looking for sheds. I've been doing quite a bit of hiking around with binoculars and just stumbling across them although I would really like to try a different tactic. And ideas would be great. Looking at buying a spotting scope in the near future and get out to the badlands to find some sheds and glass up some of the wild creatures thanks in advance!
