Havent tabulated the total value but now that the stocks are anywhere from 8$-36$ these 10-20% daily gains are making me 3000-5000$ per day, pretty wild.

There is a few companies that have green house space called bevo agro and village farms international, they grow bell peppers etc and other i door plants. They could end up targets of marijuana companies flush with cash from ipo's issues, etc

Wondering how long this run will last. The valuations are insane at this moment. But people are keep throwing money at them. At this point it is not an investment but rather a gamble.
Good luck to everybody who still putting money there. I wish the run will never end.

Pretty crazy, especially when you know many of these companies will end up going to zero. Be careful, don't let greed or the FOMO trap you IMHO.

It looks like there is a huge drop in most cannabis stocks today... any insight why?

I think it may be because Trump is taking a stance against it

Thats probably it.

OR it could be that Tweed is now worth 6 billion company (on paper) but has yet to make a profit of any kind.
I think they lost 17 million last year.

Very interesting to watch but i cant believe anyone really has real money in these stocks.
I assume its propped up by short sellers and put- take, which is beyond my scope.

california legalize the recreational use of MJ on jan 1st , california have population of 39 million( canada is @36million), lots of hype . there will be a winner in the MJ industry best to put your money with the big money ...canopy(weed)is the biggest now , later down the road there will be a consolidation of the industry, as ford79 has said take out some profit ( initial investment) and let the rest ride its the best way. The House dont worry about you winning as long as you come back .

True, that’s the reason for pull back. It can also be a good entry point if you have balls of still and some gambling money that you can afford to loose in case it all goes south....

Tried to get through for some service on my trading account the other day regarding the Agrium/Potash merger into Nutrien and was on hold forever. The reason....they are swamped with people calling about pot stocks. Royal and TD bank also had outages and glitches on their systems due to heavy demand.

Nutrien should make some good money selling their old ticker symbol "POT" to someone, I imagine they are getting lots of interest.

A last ditch effort to deter Aurora from taking them over. Funny enough, Aurora owns like 38% of Cannimed, so suing your own shareholders? "smart"

The deal is all but done, Aurora will own Cannimed.

What does Aurora go to when the deal is done?

Small holdings of Aurora, OrganiGram, Supreme and Emblem. Not enough invested to make a huge difference if the stock goes up or down, but still outperforming a couple of dud mutual funds that I sold late last year. I wish that I would have jumped on the bandwagon about 6 to 8 months earlier. Purely speculative on my part, but we'll see what happens.

That I'm unsure of. My guess would be $15+ since they hit in the $14s not long ago. Hard to say really, in my opinion anyway. The dude that bought at $0.47 on here might have a better opinion, I know he's watching this deal carefully lol.

I just follow my uncles advice. His good friend Terry Booth is the CEO of aurora.

I cashed out a week or so ago when it hit $14+

Just north of $211,000 on a $7500 investment in shy of 2 years. Paid off the house, im happy. Although i wouldnt doubt if it hits $60 a share within a year.

I decided to jump on the bandwagon as well last week. I've never traded stocks before but I put some money I could afford to lose in.

I bought some Isodiol (ISOL), Abattis (ATT) and ACB so far.

I like the extraction technology ATT has the rights to.

I think ISOL might be a really good one for CBD sales and seems overlooked right now. I've got a little money left to invest and I might put the rest into this one.

Anybody else like ISOL for long term?

How many are being patient and "holding" U.S. heavy cannabis positions, waiting for the winds of change?

https://www.eia.gov/naturalgas/weekly/

I think this is interesting, look at the power plant construction activity and lng activity plus inventory drawdowns in the usa for natural gas. This has got to be one of the most beat up and dead areas of investor confidence in the market and from the looks of it by 2020 or so there will be a time when people might turn a tight corner on nat gas.

Encana used to be a 40$ stock, made money hand over fist, cnrl has huge tracts of gas, arc resources, peyto, tourmaline are beaten down 60-80%.

I've been keeping an eye on Arc. With all of the gas plants/gas plays in place in NE B.C., if/when a gas pipeline gets completed to the west coast and the LNG demand ramps up, things will really take off. I'll be looking at them long in the not to distant future.
