Jumping Pond and Mt Kidd Area

Hey guys I am taking my Grandkids fishing this weekend and will be fishing the area around Mt Kidd camp ground. Can anyone suggest a good spot to start out a couple of future sportsmen. As well has anyone had any luck on the Jumping Pound Creek this year. Heavy flood damage. Thanks
