Nope, sadly. That guy just got a stinkpile of free advertising. Who knows what the workmanship is like but it sure speaks well to his character.

I'm left baffled how someone would stop looking for a kg of gold that they misplaced? Is this Scrooge McDuck's house and it just overflowed from the pool full of gold coins and jewels?

They were renovating an occupied building the way I understand it, so it would hardly be " finders keepers" anymore them if it was in a closet they were ripping apart .
