Something like the Brass Stacker RLO No-Drill leather sling:

They use a swivel clamp on the magazine tube, a good leather worker should be able to fabricate a leather wrap for the tube.

There are a ton of Tie on, slip pn options that do not require a front or rear stud. You are only limited by what you are prepared to pay.

Personally I find it a whole bunch easier to just install studs and use a regualr Swivel but to each his own.

I put some of that Teflon Based high adhesion grease on mine. CLP and a bunch of others makes it. It is generally designed to lube the slide of semi auto pistols but works great on slings. Seems to be good for a couple of years.

WT

One thing to watch for is often what we think is swivels squeaking turns out to be the actual leather sling making squeaking noise. Neatsfoot oil solves that pretty quick.

Bailing twine. Tried and true, recommended by hillbillies everywhere.

Seriously, a $400.00 custom leather sling ain't gonna make that gun shoot one bit better.

Twine is inexpensive, it's quiet, it's readily available and it works.

If you want something unique, get grandma to knit you one. I'll guarantee there won't be another like it in any Deer camp in North America.

Is you pride in your weapon or your tool, you decide.

Glad to hear that worked out. All the best and post a review once you have used it a bit. I liked the one I used on a Hawkin Muzzle Loader.

Aww gee, I was hoping you'd go with the twine.

I'm kidding of course, I hope your new sling is easy on your shoulder and lasts a lifetime.

Best of luck in the field.
