Double standard of lefty Political Correctness
Unbelievable what's okay to say on national TV without outrage, while others would be publicly shamed and lose their job. All depends on you're gender, race or political slant I guess? No hypocrisy here at all. Sucks for some to be an old white guy.

Programming like The Social is a good example of why CBC should be weaned off the public teat. I swear they would fold within a year if funding was cut, and lots of art major's would be out of work.

I have followed this election intensely and the four years leading up to it. The Liberals bought off the media because the stipulation to the media funding was such that they had to vet what was published by the media to get the funding. I was disgusted to read CBC and Huffington Post articles because it was obvious what was going on, but people who were not into politics and the news had no idea. So in a nutshell, people in the East were oblivious to the plight of the West. And on top of that, the media demonized Conservatives and Praised the Liberals on any issue. I don't blame Toronto for voting the way they did, because they didn't know any better since they were being directed by the media to only see what the media / Liberals wanted them to. I have friends out east who have no idea how bad it is in Alberta.
The CBC should be defunded and there should be laws in place to eliminate this sort of bribery. This only brings us one step closer to socialism / communism where the media is controlled by the state... we are getting frighteningly close to that, as seen in the last election

The only way "these ones" are competitive is with theirs mouths. Trying to come across like they know top level contact sports. Arm chair critics at their best. Even then they are jumping on the band wagon of tripe. Yes for the most part you as an athlete have to be over the edge for the most part to be that competitive and that's what DC always said if you want that life as a pro in any league or sport. Live, breathe, dream, excel always. He was not wrong with his wisdom. They are taking this too far out the box. Close your pie holes if you don't have the passion to be at the top of your game. And yes the goon age is pretty much passed. Speed and skill and playing smart. How did that ever air with no backlash?

Wow, that seems way worse than what Cherry said....she might have just called us hockey fans "you people". What about the parents of all culturals that put their time and money into enriching their children's lives with say basketball, soccer, music, cricket,drama, dance and on and on? She practically said Sid or Wayne were not nice people. Blasphemy I say. I guess her inclusivity has its limits

Stop Watching TV & Cancel Cable
Every outdoorsman is better off cancelling their cable. No good can come from watching major networks who spew their social programming garbage.
I cancelled my cable and stopped watching tv 10 years ago and I am a different person because of it.
I selectively watch interesting things on youtube and I spend more time in the woods and learning about things and reading.
You will be better off because of it.
The unwashed masses will continue to get indoctrinated by the filth we get forced fed by turning on the tv.

It’s funny you mention this. I recently sat down with a 94 year old WW II veteran. He spoke to me about his service. He still has nightmares about it. It haunts him horribly to this day. It was one of the more emotional experiences I’ve had and incredibly moving.

Thanks for bringing us back on topic and track. How true it is of what you speak. The best memory my grandfather told me he had was the day he met his soon to be wife in Italy while serving. Guess there are some good memories. He would only say the bombs and the bullets from machine guns were never ending or forgetting. I'm only here cause of his and others like him for his commitment and bravery.

We all have multiple interests.
I joined this forum because I have recently got my PAL. This fall I havested my first elk which is in my freezer and getting a European mount on its rack. I am forever grateful for this animal feeding my family and friends. I still am in disbelief that my first big game kill was an Elk.
Dont discount my involvement in this community based on a few posts.
I am not a troll. for saying that. Prove me wrong besides throwing that internet phrase to dicount my opinions.
