I'd trade Drew Remenda for her any day.

Oilers broadcast often has Louis Debrusk, who's OK.

Just saw a brief highlight, did Looch skate in and drop someone? Looked pretty intense.

Cassie ain't all that bad.

She's way better than Remenda. Can't stand how he calls players by their first name so often.

Garry Galley and Kelly Hrudey are pretty good, IMO

Good win boys. But those shots! Not gonna win a lot of games with shot counts like that......(a wise man once said)
Rittich stole a point.

Whoever said that, I totally agree with him. Good when your goalie stands tall like that, but better to protect him.

To funny, you all comment when he doesn't do stuff like this, then right on the comments when he does. Oiler nation moaned all last season he didn't stick up for team enough, and when he does it in a Flames jersey it's a sucker punch.
Bluejackets were hacking at Rittch first half of the game, so he sent a message and it stopped after that, job well done Looch. On to the next one.

Caps are 10-2. Might be ripe for the picking. Our boys are 6-3-1 in the last 10. Feels worse than that but I haven't watched much yet.

Looch is having a hearing for the punch.

I'm kind of torn. Should you be punching guys like that, probably not, should guys be sticking on the goalie when he has the puck covered, probably not, should Rittich expect a jab with a Jacket right there and the puck covered, probably, should Sherwood expect a jab after poking at the goalie, probably.

Thin "sucker punch" is a bit much. What kind of goof would be standing there completely unaware after jabbing the goalie?

Hate the contact, loving having him on the team if he keeps this up.

Looch having a hearing over this is absolute garbage. Refs don’t protect the goalies and star players in this league enough hence the need for teams to want and NEED a tough guy. The league goes after Looch for doing the refs job. Maybe the refs should start throwing the sucker punches then. The NHL has a real problem on their hands. They don’t want to call to many penalties so they allow guys to take a slash or a hack with a weapon but a good ol’ fashion punch to the face is what they want to penalize !!!! Give me a break. Soon enough baseball players will be tougher than Hockey players. Garbage.

Gotta say that Sherwood guy has a great hockey name.

I'm wondering if he just started playing hockey this year and didn't know that if you dig for the puck when the goalie has it covered you're gonna get fed some knuckles.

Very thin indeed, my definition of a sucker punch is when you dont expect or see it coming, Sherwood should certainly have expected it and it came from straight in front of Sherwood, you jab a goalie, get your cowardly hands up cuz its coming

2 games. Seems excessive to me if indeed he was protecting his goalie (never saw the game, only going off what I read on here)

Lucic got 2 games...

What on earth is this league coming to?
Perhaps the tall foreheads in the head offices wish to turn it 100% into a no code league? Very disappointed in the NHL right now. One of the things that make this sport special is the code. And the code is played out like this. Dig at the Goalie. Be prepared for someone to do something. Dont stand there like some schmuck waiting to get run over. Jesus, I hate this.

As much as I appreciate MT and what he brings to the Flames when did his style become the preferred way to get a "A" or actually in future years a "C" Is this even healthy for the league. a bunch of pests running around leading things?
I 100% believe there is room for pests on teams. I believe they can be valuable tools but should they have the letter? Please don't get me wrong. I love watching MT play. I love that he is on our team. What I do not like is the way the NHL has turned against everything that makes this sport special.
