Default Thanksgiving Freezer Filler

Got this nice fat Cow on Thanksgiving day. Closest Elk shot of my life ...13 yds.- sitting next to a Game Trail. Dirty weather but a fun hunt.

Congrats. I put a couple thousand kms this fall looking for a cow Elk. For the first time in years they opened up a general season near Ft. St. John BC. I'm very happy for you. The debate rages as to what meat taste better, Elk or Moose.

Well done. At 13 yards did you kill it with a rifle, bow, spear or hammer. Doesnt look like an old cow so it should be delicious.

lol... 9.3x62 /270 gr Hot Cor. The entrance hole is barely visible in the pic -up a bit from the base of the neck. Took out the spine and no exit hole. Can't figure that out.
I figure a 3 1/2 yr old.. Thanks all.
