Default Upper Kananaskis Lake ice condition?

Anyone been there in the last week? Wondering how the ice is, planning on heading there tomorrow. Thanks in advance...

Has anyone been out to either of these lakes recently? Ice or open water? I'm camping at Mt. Kidd this weekend and was hoping to sneak out fishing for a few hours.

I fished the Upper Lake 10 days ago and there was 21" of good ice with about 3" of white crusty ice on top (measured with tape measure). If going to the Upper Lake, be careful around the point west of the parking lot...I went to walk around the point, following in the tracks of where people had been walking and snow shoeing, and I went completely through the ice with one leg, there is some thin ice around that area. Scared the living daylights out of me! Fishing was slowwith only 1 bull trout landed from 8am -5:30pm.
