Default Hunting Snow geese

Been tossing around the idea of a snow goose hunt this fall. However having never been on a snow goose hunt I'm wondering what would be the bare minimum equipment/decoys required for a field shoot? From what I've read there seems to be a substantially larger decoy spreads required than compared to hunting Canada's.

In addition is there anybody in the south eastern part of the province willing to give a guy a heads up when the birds start showing up? Or a few pointers of good spots to head to first. PM me if you prefer that instead of posting...
