Anyone need an elk for bait? Sherwood park area.
I found a cow elk caught in a fence this morning. Got her freed up but she had been stuck too long. Fish and wildlife came out and decided to shoot it. I took it hoping I could salvage some meat. Front half is no good. So if anyone wants it I got a letter from fish and wildlife saying I can give it away for wolf or coyote bait but not for bear bait. I know it's a bit late for fur but might be useful for just cleaning up some coyotes.
