Default Scouting Trip Pic heavy!

So I know you guys love pics so here is my monday morning.

I headed out to a few quarters I hunt in 334 to get a feel for whats happening now that there is snow. This is my second year hunting this property so I'm not intimate with it yet.

Oh look Deer!

Some of the deer tracks were a good size.

Saw some moose tracks too. Last year I bumped into a cow moose.
She was lucky I did not have a tag and this year is a no go again.

More to follow...

Now is where it gets fun!

Saw a lot of pre rut activity.

Then I followed them in to the scary forest...

Cam across this scary seen. Looks like 2 bucks went at it!

Maybe they were fighting over the chocolate?

And I found my first coyote den.

So, what did you guys do on Monday morning?

You know, I woke up Saturday am and did the same on some ACA land half hour from home. I realized how much I missed reading the snow last season. We were pretty much bare last November.
I was able to scout around for sign in the beautiful, fresh powder. Snuck up on a cow moose to 40 yards (no tag this year).
Went back Sunday PM and found a small creek that funneled into a field. The moose and deer sign there was unreal. Looking to arrow one out of there before my dedicated Northern Alberta hunt this fall.

Great post OP
