Talking about 10 cents / liter in Edmonton. Still think we need a regulator like AUC to be a watch dog. Seems like oil companies still refuse to be good corporate citizens, gouging the public every chance they get!

Let's equate it to a vegetable salesman. He buys a head of lettuce for $1.00, pays 10% tax and 15 cents to get it ready for market. He sells the lettuce for $1.50 and makes 25 cents profit per head.

Lettuce drops to 50 cents a head, he continues to pay 10% tax and 15 cents for prep, but now, he makes 80 cents a head profit.

I made all these numbers up of course, but it shows what's happening now with fuel prices with oil at $45 a bbl. instead of $120.

Let the excuses begin....
