Default Remington 770

Have a friend looking into buying one but we know very little about them. Anyone have any experience with them? Pros/cons

Thx,
Stewart

Default Budget rifle attempt

They shoot straight enough, but that about it. I wouldn’t pay more than a couple hundred bucks.

A poor design attempt at a budget rifle.

I had one about 6 years ago(270 win),it shot good enough but it fed poorly, bolt was sloppy.I think there are better rifles to be had.
I wouldn't pay anymore than 100 bucks for one.

Im a big fan of reminginton 700's but wouldnt touch a 770 with a 10' pole like others said accurate enough but just handle one and cycle the bolt a few times you will understand
