As the title states, I'm trying to find a stainless barrel band for my 10/22.
When I bought the gun (online) the stock photo showed a stainless barrel band
but it showed up with a black one on it. When I called the store, they told me
that's just how they come from Ruger.
Anyways, I have tried contacting Ruger and I was told that they couldn't help
me. I called a few different retailers but have not heard anything back. Does anyone either have one of these that they would sell me; or does anyone know of a place where there is a good chance that they will have one of these to sell?

Short of the look , you don't actually need it, but some guys will sell the stock bits when they "soup up" build so just keep an eye on the buy and sell

Unless a stainless steel barrel band is something new from Ruger, then the only difference is that although they are both cast aluminum one is black oxidized and the other is bead blasted by some process to appear stainless. If you want your black band to be silver then get thee to the nearest blast cabinet. D.H.
