Default Dore Lake in September

Looking for information on how Walleye fishing is in the latter part of September.
Any information or experiences fishing the lake this time of year.
Thx

Just came back from 2 weeks there and fishing was tough, from what I heard from the in-laws it's been a generally tough year, by September fishing should pick back up. I don't know if this is hurting or helping but I had never seen so may perch fry in the shallows so I expect that they may not be as hungry as normal.

Very odd patterns this year even with the pike. either dead slow and in the weeds. or trolling @ 3+ mph.

A decent count of big fish even with it being a tough year

Not a Walleye but it was caught just last Thursday, for reference the bait hanging out of it's mouth is a 6" swimbait.

Just back from 4 days at Dore and slow is an understatement. The weather did us no favors but the fish were not moving period. Pike were all caught in less than 8ft usually in the weeds still.....walleye were still up around 12-14ft but dead on the bottom. From talking to others it's been like this all summer so far. We never ventured up to the north islands but word is it's hot up there....we stuck to michel point moose bay and did a half day at south bay over to saskatoon island. Tons of small perch and bait fish everywhere plus the water level is up 3-4ft.....
