Default Thanks for the sturgeon advice!!

I posted back in February about recommendations for a guiding outfit on the Fraser for sturgeon. Quite a few people said Cascade, so that's who we went with. We went with the expectation that we may get into 2 or 3 fish but honestly I would have just been happy to finally catch one. We ended up with 9 and lost another 3 on the jump. I guide myself, so I have expectations about what a guide should be doing and our guide Clayton worked his ass off all day to keep us on the fish. Would definitely recommend Cascade to anyone thinking of going out to do this. It was a bucket list trip for me and may turn into an annual one. I still cant believe how hard they pull!!

Here is a few pics. We didn't get into any of the real big ones, our largest went 72", But still the biggest fish I have ever caught.

Just came back from fishing the lower fraser with a bunch of coworkers. We used STS and brought over 50 sturgeon to the boat, we rented 4 boats for our group. Great day and many sore arms. largest was 84 inches. They sure are powerful fish.

Off to Mexico first to lay the smack down there on the fish...pants on...then power through the lakers, pike, walleye, perch and then off to BC....

Occasionally the pants have to come off
