They are both a couple of years older than I am.

As old? I really thought the guy, i.e. elkhunter, is at least a decade older than what I see on that photo; only judging by his posts here of course
I guess good job on that as well, elkhunter!

Some us carry our age much better than others, some of us just looked old, period!

I am 57, and have been hunting for 45 years, and shooting for over 50, so I have been around for a while.

Beautiful buck with very symmetrical rack. Congrats. Will it be mounted, considering it's your last Alberta buck?

Heading out there for Thursday morning non-trophy antelope. It will be my son's first opportunity to harvest a big game animal so we're looking forward to it. Usually head to Remount or Buffalo-Atlee community pastures. Just looking to confirm that these areas weren't burnt and guys are seeing antelope on them still?
Thanks!

The fire never reached Buffalo/Atlee or Remount. We saw very few pronghorns on Remount, but we saw quite a few at Buffalo/Atlee. There were also a fair number along the river by Bindloss.

Congrats! That Pronghorn will be a beautiful mount! Strange that the 3rd member of your party decided to burn his 10 year+ Antelope tag. I wouldn't have let him go home without a goat!

He told me on the way home that he hasn't done any shooting in a few years, and he didn't feel confident about shooting 200 yards or more. He also told me that he was happy to have just been a part of the hunt.
